The building ANTULAFQUEN is in quite an historical area – La Poza. It wasn’t before 1940 that the coast road between Villarrica and Pucón was built. Before this time passengers arrived to Villarrica by train, crossed the lake by boat, and disembarked in the dock opposite the first hotel built in Pucon in 1923, the Gudenschwager. Today a beautiful pedestrian promenade on the shores of Lake Villarrica, home to a wetland that is a natural sanctuary with countless birds, and with unparalleled views of the Villarrica volcano has become one of the favourite walks of tourists and residents.
